NHS is Partnering with The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance to provide small business loans to Berks County primarily to support the Latino Demographic. This will be done through the establishment of the La Familia Federal Credit Union which will allow for additional financial offering to existing clients as well as the community.

Thanks again to the @fightins for partnering with us for the AMAZING NeighborWorks America Fireworks Night on June 8! There were over 6,300 in the park that night and they all enjoyed the beautiful fireworks while getting the word out about the NeighborWorks America promotion!

Join us Thursday, June 8 for the Reading Fightin Phils game! It’s NeighborWorks America Week and NHS will be sponsoring fireworks tomorrow night!

Our neighborhood leadership project is aimed at spotlighting landmarks in Reading. The idea was developed by a team of city neighborhood leaders that includes Adonis Fleming, a project manager and graduate assistant with Alvernia University’s O’Pake Institute, and Lucy Cortez, COO of Neighborhood Housing Services.
