We are SO EXCITED to announce our 2nd Annual 5K Run for Shelter! The Reading-Berks Association of REALTORS® is proud to work together with Habitat for Humanity of Berks County and Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Berks, Inc. TOGETHER we strive to increase neighborhood revitalization, create additional housing opportunities, and restore hope for deserving families’ right here in Berks County! This community fundraiser will benefit the initiatives of these two non-profit housing organizations and help to increase their capacity to educate, build, and provide safe homes in addition to increasing neighborhood values. By bringing neighbors together in a positive and healthy way, we can help to revitalize our communities and build a strong foundation for the future of our area.
By joining us as a sponsor, you too can participate in helping transform our region by supporting the dream of
homeownership for so many families. The is a course along the scenic Schuylkill River, on packed cinder & paved trails to be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 beginning at the Reading Area Community College. Competitiveness is more than welcome, but not required! You can walk or run the course at your own pace. This family friendly run is open to all ages and abilities and will be advertised as an open invitation to all of Berks County! Sponsors are welcome to table at the event where spectators, participants, and their families will be able to enjoy activities in addition to food, awards, and music.
